Enchanted Circle Bicycle Tour August 27

The Enchanted Circle Bicycle Tour offers participants the opportunity to ride some of the most scenic areas in the southwest. On both the 85 and 100-mile course, cyclists will experience rewarding climbs, rolling hills, fast descents, and hairpin turns. Bounded by some of the most spectacular peaks in New Mexico, the Enchanted Circle Scenic Byway features the iconic mountain town of Red River, the Village of Questa, the soul of the Southwest in Taos, the four-season resort of Angel Fire, the summer-home community of Eagle Nest and the state’s highest mountain road in Bobcat Pass. There’s no better way to experience the raw, natural beauty of Northern New Mexico!

Enchanted Forest Trail Races July 30

Come celebrate the outdoors this summer in the Land of Enchantment with a weekend of challenging trail fun. Red River, New Mexico is the quintessential cool little adventure town with rivers, mountains, stunning views, tons of character, and a huge heart. Red River sits on the southern end of the Sangre De Cristos and racers will experience the rugged trails in the Carson National Forest and the gorgeous rolling high alpine Enchanted Forest cross country ski area on the course. After the races relax with your friends, family, and other racers over local food, music, and microbrews in the heart of town at the after-party.

4th of July Parade & Celebration

Red River is the perfect place for families and no time is this more obvious than during the annual 4th of July Parade & Celebration! The day begins at 10 a.m. with the largest parade in northern New Mexico, followed by a full day of family-friendly activities all over town.

After the parade stroll down to Brandenburg Park where you can enjoy fun and games in the park, along with music and good food.  Then head on over to the Red River Community House for family fun!

Red River Car Show June 4, 2022

Over 150 of the most awesome classic, hot rod, and modern cars cruise into Red River for this exciting Car Show. There will be food and specialty vendors during the show hours. Family-friendly activities will be held in Brandenburg Park. Additionally, there will be live music during the event as well as post-show concert. The post-show concert will feature Nashville-based country singer-songwriter John King. It will be held in Brandenburg Park following the Car Show.

40th Annual Red River Memorial Motorcyle Rally May 26-30

Get ready for the rumble as 20,000 bikers from all different backgrounds line Main Street for one crazy party. Live music can be found all over town, along with vendors carrying everything from leather and lace to food and fun. While you’re here, make sure you ride the Enchanted Circle Scenic Byway, a 84-mile loop through northern New Mexico’s most beautiful scenery.

Taos Air Offers Service to Northern New Mexico

Taos Air now offers non-stop service from both Austin and Dallas to Taos, getting you to the Rockies in as little as two hours. The new flights to Taos Regional Airport will operate three days a week — Thursday, Saturday and Sunday — from Dec. 20 through the end of March. Tickets are available to the public, with fares starting at $199 one-way. The flights will operate under the new Taos Air brand on a 30-seat Dornier 328 jet, with experienced operator Ultimate Jet Charters providing the crews and aircraft management.
